VSCPA Educational Foundation awards $79,500 in accounting scholarships 

Richmond (June 1, 2026) — The Virginia Society of Public Accountants (VSCPA) Educational Foundation has awarded accounting students across the Commonwealth a total of $79,500 in scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year. 

The VSCPA Educational Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting business and accounting education, rewarding academic excellence and encouraging students to pursue promising careers as Certified Public Accountants (CPA). 

 This year, the Foundation awards $79,500 in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral scholarships to 30 accounting college students across Virginia. 

 Scholarship applicants must be currently enrolled or have been accepted in an accounting program at an accredited Virginia college or university with the intent to pursue a CPA license.  

 Other selection criteria for the awards include overall academic performance, entry essay, faculty recommendation(s) and/or extracurricular activities.  

 This year’s scholarship recipients include:
