CPAs in the Classroom

Inspire and engage future accountants

CPAs in the Classroom is a career awareness program that plays a crucial role in the Society’s overarching strategy to foster the growth of the CPA talent pipeline. The year-long initiative helps educate students of all ages about different career paths in accounting. It connects Virginia middle and high school students with accountants and CPAs to explore the wonderful world of accounting.

Volunteers share what makes their careers fulfilling, unveil the profession's many opportunities, debunk myths, and provide resources for students to learn more.
