Women in accounting know how to reconcile numbers. What about reconciling their own self-worth? Get the tools you need to heal the hidden costs of self-sacrifice, shifting women from over-giving to empowered leadership that multiplies impact without diminishing their value. The Women’s Learning Exchange is a virtual series designed to inspire, empower and unite women in the CPA profession. Each interactive, one-hour session kicks off with a featured speaker diving into a topic centered on female empowerment — from navigating career challenges to building confidence and creating impact.

But this isn’t just about listening — it’s about exchanging. In the second half of each session, you’ll join small breakout groups for guided discussions that invite honest conversation, shared insights and mutual support. It’s a space to learn from your peers, grow both personally and professionally, and build lasting camaraderie with women who understand your journey.

Angela Goodman, Founding Partner, Valkyrie Ventures Group

Angela Goodman is a dynamic entrepreneur, community builder, and storyteller based in Ashburn, Va. After spending 15 years engineering solutions in the buttoned-up world of corporate HVAC, she traded blueprints for brunch menus and launched Virginia’s first Famous Toastery in 2016. Since then, she’s been serving up sizzling success with a side of sass — and was even honored as the International Franchise Association’s 2023 Franchisee of the Year (yes, the eggs really are that good). She’s also a founding partner of Valkyrie Ventures Group (valkyrieventuresgroup.com), where she works her financial alchemy to help others dissolve deep-seated money blocks, reclaim their worth, and step boldly into aligned abundance. Think of it as financial therapy — only with spreadsheets, soul work and a whole lot of real talk.

But Angela didn’t stop at flapjacks and French toast. She’s also the visionary founder of EVOLVE (www.evolve-us.org), a soulful space where entrepreneurs, creatives and seekers gather to rewrite their stories and reclaim their divine path. Through her podcast, EVOLVE Thru God, she invites listeners into real conversations about faith, healing, and those holy nudges that whisper, “There’s more for you.” Spoiler alert: she answers them.

At home, Angela leads a wild and wonderful tribe that includes her two fierce and fabulous daughters, three rowdy dogs and two cats who believe they own the place (and honestly, they might).
