Share your expertise with Virginia’s accounting community
Have insights to share with Virginia’s CPAs and financial professionals? The VSCPA is looking for dynamic speakers and thought leaders to contribute to our conferences, webinars and publications. Whether you want to present on emerging trends or write about practical solutions, this is your opportunity to share your expertise, raise your profile and give back to the profession.
We welcome proposals for speaking engagements and articles on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Accounting and auditing.
- Tax.
- Ethics.
- Technology and AI.
- Leadership and talent.
- Industry trends and innovation.
- Financial reporting.
- Economic forecasting.
- Business strategy.
Presenters may be selected for live or virtual VSCPA events throughout the year, including signature events such as:
- Business & Industry Conference (spring).
- Virginia Accounting & Auditing Conference (fall).
- Women’s Learning Exchange (quarterly).
- Mid-Atlantic Beach Retreat (summer).
- Mid-Atlantic Tax Forum (winter).
- Small Business Forum (winter).
- Ethics courses (ongoing).
- And many other specialized learning events.
Writers may be featured in VSCPA publications, newsletters or online resources read by thousands of CPAs across Virginia.
We’re looking for:
- Organized and engaging presenters and writers.
- Relevant, up-to-date content with practical application.
- Interactive or thought-provoking approaches.
- Content aligned with professional development and compliance standards.
VSCPA learning content adheres to Virginia Board of Accountancy requirements.
Sharing your expertise with the VSCPA is a great way to build your reputation, grow your professional network and give back to the profession. While most contributors volunteer their time, limited compensation or travel support may be available for select speaking events.
