The VSCPA launched our VSCPA2025 strategic framework in 2017, including a new vision and mission, to drive our organization and our members toward a successful future. To further that vision, we’ve updated our look and refreshed our brand identity — an updated logo, brand colors and design approach that aligns with our organizational values and reflects our dedication to innovation and a vibrant, thriving profession. While we may look a little different, our commitment to our members and the profession remains the same.
Our website, social channels, communications and marketing have been updated to reflect the changes. You’ll also see our brand promise extended in our messaging, our programming, our customer service and in every experience.

The VSCPA logo is registered with the Virginia State Corporation Commission as a state service mark, for sole use by the Virginia Society of CPAs, its chapters, members and approved partners. VSCPA chapters and members are permitted to use the VSCPA logo and CPA brand logo on stationery, business cards, brochures or made part of a website. Please follow these rules when using the logo:
- The logo may not be altered in any way. The icon (swoosh) and word mark (association's full name in the logo) may never be separated from the full logo.
- When using the logo on stationery, business cards, brochures, websites or other communications, members and chapters must follow the sizing, color and font guidelines below.
- Individual members and firms must use the phrase "Member of the" before insertion of the full logo.
- Chapters should contact the VSCPA for logos including the chapter name.

To ensure the readability of the logo and organization name, the minimum allowed size of the logo is 1.25 inches measured across the width of the logo and .277 inches height.
Great care must be taken to ensure that the logo is not modified or otherwise distorted. The logo must always be resized proportionally and may not be stretched. Do not rearrange any parts of the logo, tagline or lockup.
To maximize visual impact, the logo should have a surrounding area clear of any other graphic elements or text. The exclusion zone is equal to the height of the graphic.
The VSCPA brand color palette consists of two primary logo colors and four supporting brand colors. The logo may only be used in full color — maroon and slate — or in black or white.
