Nammy Lee, Ph.D., is the senior program director and assistant professor at the University of Virginia School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS), overseeing the school’s Business and Professional Certificate programs. She brings wide-ranging experiences spanning over 30 years as an educator and a public and private practitioner. Prior to academic appointment, she worked in the public sector conducting audits and later served as a consultant to small businesses.
An innovative educator, Nammy successfully converted the school’s accounting program fully online with focus on the instructional design for student engagement and interaction. Her research in accounting education has been recently presented at the International Education Conferences, where she served as the track chair for the Education and Teaching for Life Long Learning. She is an active member of the AICPA and VSCPA northern chapter, previously serving as a panelist promoting accounting careers to students. She has a master's in accounting and financial management and holds a Ph.D. in organization and management with a specialization in business.
