Mary G. Morris, J.D., is executive director of the Virginia College Savings Plan (VCSP), where she directs and oversees the management, investments and operations of the largest 529 college savings program in the country with more than 1.7 million accounts and assets under management exceeding $27 billion.
Named executive director in November 2007, Ms. Morris directs the activities of the independent agency that sponsors Virginia's four 529 plans: the Virginia Prepaid Education Program (VPEP), the Virginia Education Savings Trust (VEST), CollegeAmerica and CollegeWealth. Ms. Morris received her Juris Doctor and Master of Law and Taxation from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary. Ms. Morris is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the College Savings Plans Network and the College Savings Foundation.
