Kathy Rondon has worked as a government employee and contractor in information management and data governance for over twenty years. Most of her career has focused on the proper handling, classifications, controls and sharing of national security information, and she has recently applied this expertise to designing and delivering enterprise-level training on the governance of public sector data and data governance legal and regulatory frameworks. She is currently the chief business strategist for The Reports & Requirements Company, which provides innovative operations and data sharing solutions to U.S. government clients on sensitive data collections.
Kathy holds Mastery-Level Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP) certification and is the principle drafter of and instructor for a three-day public sector data governance training and certification course.
Kathy has spoken at Enterprise Data World, the Dataversity Winter Data Governance Conference, Data Governance Vision and National Capital Region and Chicago Chapter Data Management Association meetings.
