John Cox

John Cox, MBA, J.D., is founder and CEO of The Rome Group, Inc. He has spent the last 35 years working with firms of all sizes and business sectors to help them “re-think” and improve their business operations. He has authored two books: In The Jungle Tigers Starve Last and Lean Accounting and Management, and has published more than 50 articles on operational excellence issues. He frequently appears on radio and television and is a nationally recognized speaker on improving operational performance and increasing a firm’s profits. John is a Paul Harris Fellow (Rotary International) and past president of the Arlington Sunrise Rotary Club. He is a member of The Deming Group, the Six Sigma Forum, the American Society of Quality, the American Marketing Association, The American Society of Training and Development, Sales and Marketing Executives International, the Organizational Development Network and the National Speakers Association. He is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has earned the designations as a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) from the National Speaker’s Association and Certified Marketing Executive (CME) from the American Marketing Association.
