Chip Colbert is the executive director and co-founder of the Fully Charged Institute and the chief executive officer of Starfish Leadership. He speaks on the subjects of leadership development, engagement and well-being, building and leading diverse teams, strategic planning, and risk mitigation. He is the coauthor of the upcoming book Emotional Charge. Prior to the Fully Charged Institute, Chip worked at the White House, serving as the National Security Council’s director for defense policy and strategy for the Middle East. Over a 20-year career as an Army infantry officer and strategist, he was deployed worldwide in support of military operations, including commanding a company during a combat tour in Iraq. Chip also taught at West Point from 2005 to 2008. Chip is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and holds a Master of Arts degree in organizational psychology and leadership development from Teachers College, Columbia University.
