Educators: CPAs in the Classroom

Connect with a CPA to talk to your students!

Introduce your students to the endless opportunities of a career in accounting.

Get a CPA to visit a middle, high school, or college classroom, attend career fairs, or visit club meetings. CPAs can also speak to students taking personal finance courses to fulfill their Virginia graduation requirement.

Through videos, publications, online games and case studies, the following resources will help students better understand the career opportunities in the CPA profession. Teachers are encouraged to incorporate these into their lesson plans to help students understand what the accounting profession is really like.
