The VSCPA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: NASBARegistry.org.
The group study, webcast, on-demand and in-house versions of the VSCPA's Essential Ethics courses satisfy the annual, 2-hour Virginia Board of Accountancy (VBOA) ethics requirement. The VBOA requires ALL Virginia CPAs to take 2 hours of ethics CPE every calendar year. Check out our FAQ for more information on the requirement.

If you are licensed in Virginia and North Carolina, and you live and primarily work in Virginia, the group study, on-demand and in-house versions of the VSCPA's Essential Ethics courses satisfy two hours of the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners annual ethics requirement.
If your primary state of licensure is North Carolina or you are a resident of North Carolina, the group study and in-house versions of the VSCPA's Essential Ethics courses satisfy your annual ethics requirement; however, our webcast and on-demand versions do not.
