Ron Seigneur, CPA/ABV, CFF, CVA, ASA, MBA, is managing partner of Seigneur Gustafson, LLP, CPAs, where he is responsible for financial forensics, economic damages assessments, business and intellectual property valuation and related litigation support services. Ron has more than 30 years of public accounting experience serving a wide range of closely held businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals. He also served as the legal administrator for a 50 attorney firm and has worked with more than 300 professional service firms on a wide range of practice management issues. Seigneur has provided testimony as an expert witness in several jurisdictions and has served appointments as trustee, mediator, arbitrator and special master of the court. He is co-author of the 1300+ page treatise on business appraisal titled Financial Valuations: Applications and Models, with the third edition to be published in 2010 by John Wiley & Sons. He has been an adjunct professor at the University of Denver, College of Law for more than 20 years, where he teaches law firm finance, leadership and management classes. He is a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management and a frequent speaker and author on valuation, leadership and other topics. Seigneur is the 2009-10 chair of the Colorado Society of CPAs and was inducted into the AICPA Business Valuation Hall of Fame in 2006.
