Richmond (May 14, 2018) — The Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA) Educational Foundation is pleased to announce its officers and Board of Directors for the 2018–2019 fiscal year. The officers and directors were installed on at the VSCPA’s annual business meeting May 10 in Richmond.
Randy Spurrier, CPA, of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, is serving as chair of the Board. Heather Flanagan, CPA, of KPMG in Washington, will serve as chair-elect.
Two VSCPA members were named vice chairs of the Foundation Board: Diane D. Guensberg, CPA, of Grant Thornton in Arlington, and Nicholas Harrison, CPA, of Dixon Hughes Goodman in Richmond. VSCPA Vice President, Finance and Administration Beth Bickford, CPA, will serve as secretary/treasurer.
At-large Board members include: O. Whitfield Broome, CPA, of the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville; Michael K. Crichton, CPA, of Burdette Smith & Bish, LLC, in Fairfax; Scott D. Davis, CPA, of Frank & Co., PC, in McLean; Brian Deibler, CPA, of Malvin Riggins & Co., PC, in Newport News; Chris Enright, CPA, of Christopher A. Enright, CPA, PLC, in Montpelier; Marshall A. Handy, CPA, of Roger L. Handy, PC in Virginia Beach; Clare K. Levison, CPA, of Alliant Techsystems, Inc., in Radford; and Kevin S. Matthews, CPA, of Beta Solutions CPA, LLC, in Reston.
