The Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA) is launching a new peer to peer learning program for members at the executive and upper management level called XChange. It offers an agile approach to learning, enables knowledge sharing and helps individuals retain critical information.

The XChange pilot program offers up to 9 CPE credits and consists of three in-person events which will give you the opportunity to meet VSCPA members in similar roles as you and discuss hot topics facing the profession today. You’ll take a deep dive into the following topics:

  • Session one (May 30): Technology and automation are big issues facing the accounting profession. In this session, discuss the important role technology will play in your future business and workforce.
  • Session two (June 25): Why is attracting and retaining talent important to your firm? In this talent strategy session, we will look at building strategic recruiting partnerships needed to attract key talent. We’ll also explore tools that enable us to provide a great employee experience that directly impacts retention and succession planning.
  • Session three (July 31): Keeping pace with the latest developments in human resources can be critical to ongoing success. In this session, we will explore important tools and resources needed to cope with HR challenges.
