Achieving a deeper connection with direct reports of varied perspectives and backgrounds allows for deeper, more vulnerable discussions that formulate better strategies and facilitate creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.

Successful DEI work necessitates a mutual understanding between employees of shared experiences and perspectives. Our team will lead a live, interactive series of exercises to increase your organization’s sense of connection and togetherness while building high-performing diverse teams. These exercises can be a great foundational tool to increase your organization’s readiness for DEI work and create greater connectivity.

As leaders develop soft skills related to communication, conflict management, and effective leadership, they should also seek to truly develop the skill of cultural intelligence. In today's workplace, cultural competency, or one's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging, has a significant impact on their ability to foster teamwork and collaboration in our increasingly diverse workplaces. During this session, participants will assess their cultural intelligence and work to recognize their own biases, as well as the biases of the individuals around them.

Learning Outcomes:
• Participants will understand the dimensions of diversity
• Participants will recognize bias and assumptions, as well as their impact on decisions and outcomes
• Participants will be urged to commit to action to address bias and assumptions in the workplace
