This is an AICPA ENGAGE 2019 conference session rebroadcast. Many things come out in a divorce, not least of which are tax and financial planning issues like undisclosed foreign bank accounts, fraudulent returns, etc. The 2017 Tax Act has also impacted tax planning around divorces. This webcast brings together Eric Green JD, LLM (Taxation), from Green & Sklarz LLC and Sheila Charmoy, JD from Charmoy & Charmoy, who will cover what accountants need to know about divorce, the changes made by the 2017 Tax Act and how they impact divorce planning and analysis, and the potential tax issues that should be considered before the divorce agreement is finalized.
