*This course has been approved by the Virginia Board of Accountancy (VBOA) to fulfill your 2022 ethics requirement. It also qualifies for up to 2.5 hours of Yellow Book credit. By completing this course, you'll satisfy your annual ethics requirement and can also apply 2.5 credit hours to your Yellow Book requirement (if applicable).

The 2018 Yellow Book addresses key concepts of ethics including the public interest, integrity, objectivity and professional behavior. This course will review the key concepts and the application to auditors in a governmental environment. We’ll also review changes to the independence standards in the 2018 Revision.

  • After registering, you will receive a separate email with instructions on how to access the course. 
  • This course contains review questions and a final test to assess knowledge of course objectives. Successful completion of the final test is required to receive credit.
  • This course was recorded in 2021; however, the 2022 version includes an updated opening video segment from the VBOA. It qualifies toward your 2022 ethics requirement.
