In-Person Event Policies & Guidance

We’re taking precautions to ensure your safety at in-person gatherings. This includes:

  • Regular cleaning and disinfecting
  • Hand-sanitizer stations in the main lobbies and at meal functions
  • Comfort-level seating
  • Safe food handling and service
  • Gloves provided upon request

Effective October 1, 2021, the VSCPA in-person event attendance policy is as follows. If changes to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Virginia Department of Health (VDH) guidance result in an update to VSCPA policies, you will be notified prior to your event date.

In-Person Attendance Policy: Proof of Vaccination & Masking

In light of the rising number of COVID-19 cases and Virginia being a state of high transmission, we want to ensure the health and safety of all attendees for in-person events. To keep you as safe as possible, we are requiring that speakers, attendees and event staff be fully vaccinated. A person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after the second dose of a two-dose series, or two weeks after a single dose of a one-dose vaccine.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required prior to admittance to VSCPA in-person meetings and events. The only exemption to this policy will be medical reasons. When this occurs, specific health protocols must be followed or otherwise, attendees will not be admitted. You will be notified prior to your event date with instructions for submitting your vaccination information. We will not be offering in-person access with proof of negative COVID-19 test results for non-vaccinated people (unless you have a medical or religious reason).

Masking is required indoors on Colonial Williamsburg Properties regardless of vaccination status. Once inside the seminar classroom, masks are optional. Please refer to the Williamsburg Lodge and Colonial Williamsburg policies.

If you are unable to comply with VSCPA in-person policies, this event is available via simulcast.
