Members of each board will serve a one-year term with the possibility of reappointment and are responsible for:
Representing VSCPA members’ interests and needs
Leading their respective organization through visionary and strategic thinking
Ensuring the financial success of their respective organization
Ensuring a strong, healthy membership base (VSCPA Board of Directors) or fundraising and scholarship/award program (Educational Foundation)
Board members must attend all meetings and Leaders’ Summit, scheduled for May 24–25, 2016, at the Williamsburg Lodge. Each board member must be a VSCPA member, have an active CPA license and be in good standing with the Virginia Board of Accountancy (VBOA).
