Description:

Using a combination of humor and examples, this course reviews tax developments that affect 2012 return preparation and 2012 tax planning for corporate and other business taxpayers. The course also reviews the major areas of corporate and business taxation to fine tune practitioners for tax season. For 2012, there will be a segment on the tax consequences of the purchase and sale of a partnership interest with a supporting 10-page outline.

Please note that you must submit your PTIN number to the CPE course administrator on the day you attend the course or send it to cpe@vscpa.com within five days of the course to receive credit.

  • To prepare for tax season and to review and update corporate and other business planning ideas
  • To review old rules and to learn new law changes -- the course includes a 700+ page reference manual with each chapter containing basic rules, selected items of interest, 2012 developments, planning ideas, elections and forms. The manual also includes a topical index.
