Educational Foundation Launches Centennial Fundraising Campaign in Honor of VSCPA’s 100th Anniversary

October 6, 2009

Today, October 6, 2009, VSCPA celebrates its 100th anniversary. This year also marks the centennial anniversary of the CPA profession in Virginia. As Virginia CPAs reflect on the past century of success, it is also important to lay the foundation for an equally successful future.

That’s why the VSCPA Educational Foundation has launched a Centennial fundraising campaign in honor of this momentous occasion, with the goal of raising $250,000 by April 30, 2010.

All contributions made to the Foundation between now and April 30, 2010, will go toward the Centennial campaign goal. The funds will help support the Foundation’s wide array of programs, services and scholarships aimed at attracting future CPAs.

“The VSCPA Educational Foundation’s Centennial fundraising campaign provides Virginia CPAs a wonderful opportunity to ensure a bright future for the profession in observance of its impressive 100-year history,” said Stephanie S. Saunders, CPA, chair of the VSCPA Educational Foundation Board of Directors.

The Foundation has raised $186,000 toward the $250,000 goal, which means we’re more than halfway there! Help us reach the goal. Honor the past by securing the future: Donate to the VSCPA Educational Foundation today.
