Members: Submit Feedback on UAA Draft to VSCPA

The VSCPA wants member feedback on a proposal to enhance practice mobility across state lines.

In December 2006, the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and 
American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) issued an exposure draft (.DOC) of changes to Section 23 of the Uniform Accountancy Act (UAA). The revisions offer a comprehensive system for permitting licensee mobility while making explicit state boards' authority to regulate all who offer or render professional services within their jurisdiction.

The VSCPA will take an official position on the exposure draft, and we'd like member input. Please submit your feedback to VSCPA Government Affairs Director Erin Collins at (800) 733-8272 by April 2, 2007.
