VSCPA Educators' Symposium
The VSCPA Educators' Symposium is invariably an exciting opportunity for Virginia's accounting educators to communicate with the VSCPA while hearing important professional news and information. The 2008 Symposium was another resounding success!
For 10 years, the Educators' Symposium has created stimulating opportunities for Virginia's accounting educators to communicate with the VSCPA while hearing important professional news and information. This year was no different. The 2008 Symposium delivered with valuable information and plenty of networking opportunities. Donna Street from the University of Dayton explored what your students need to know about International Financial Reporting Standards. Susan Wheeler from James Madison University discussed student privacy laws in light of recent tragedies, and Nancy Bagranoff from Old Dominion University told us more about AACSB accreditation. And that's just a small taste of what transpired!
Please plan to join us for the 2009 Educators' Symposium. Keep your eyes on the VSCPA website and www.CPAStudentZone.com for details.
