Legislator Resources
The Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA) comprises more than 8,000 Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) working in private businesses, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions and public accounting firms of all sizes.
The VSCPA is a pro-business organization whose purpose is to ensure the use of sound professional practices by all its members and to promote the important contributions CPAs make to the prosperity of the Commonwealth. Virginia's CPAs play a unique and vital role in the success and growth of business, the soundness of government operations, the excellence of higher education and the protection and confidence of investors.
The VSCPA is always happy to arrange briefings for legislators. Any questions or inquiries can be directed to VSCPA Government Affairs Director Erin Collins at (800) 733-8272.
