VSCPA Offers Financial Literacy Workshop for Young Professionals
The Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA) is pleased to partner with the Richmond Chamber of Commerce’s Helping Young Professionals Engage (HYPE) program to offer a financial literacy workshop for young Richmond professionals entitled "Save Young, Win Big." This seminar is designed to address money management issues young professionals face in their careers and personal lives. Led by a local certified public accountant (CPA) and VSCPA member Phil Umansky, CPA, Ph.D., this event is open to the public and will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, in Richmond.

- Highlights: Lay the groundwork for a lifetime of financial fitness by attending this informative workshop! Designed especially for young professionals (ages 35 and under), this workshop explores budgeting, consumer credit, career planning, student loans, buying your first home, insurance strategies, saving, investing and tax planning.
