Financial Fitness Day 2009

The Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA) is gearing up for the fifth year of its statewide community service event called Financial Fitness Day. This event is part of the financial literacy initiative, called Financial Fitness, and designed to improve the financial health of Virginians.

Financial Fitness Day will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009. Volunteer CPAs will man informational booths around the state from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and offer free resources and materials to the public on money management and fiscal responsibility topics.

Charlottesville: Fashion Square Mall at 1600 East Rio Road
Chesapeake: Chesapeake Square Mall at 4200 Portsmouth Boulevard
Fredericksburg: Wal-Mart at 1800 Carl D. Silver Parkway
Northern Virginia: Booth #1 (Fairfax: Wal-Mart at 13059 Fair Lakes Center); Booth #2 (Manassas: Manassas Mall at 8300 Sudley Road)
Richmond: Booth #1 (Shady Grove YMCA at 11255 Nuckols Road, Glen Allen); Booth #2 (Wal-Mart at 7901 Brook Road) and Booth #3 (Wal-Mart at 2501 Sheila Lane)
Roanoke: Wal-Mart at 4807 Valley View Boulevard
Virginia Beach: Pembroke Mall at 4554 Virginia Beach Boulevard
