CPA Inauguration

The Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA) and the Virginia Board of Accountancy (BOA) know that achieving a CPA license is a long road of hard work and dedication. That's why we invite new CPA licensees to join us in this well deserved celebration.

The 2008 Fall CPA Inauguration takes place 5:45 – 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, at Richmond's most historic and luxurious hotel, The Jefferson Hotel. Each new CPA licensee will be individually recognized by name and have a picture taken with the chairs of both the VSCPA and BOA. The agenda for the evening is as follows:

  • 5:45 p.m. — Cocktail reception
  • 7:00 p.m. — Dinner
  • 7:30 p.m. — Main program
  • 8:15 p.m. — Dessert reception

During the cocktail reception, dinner and dessert reception, new CPA licensees will have the opportunity to network and mingle with partners of CPA firms, other new licensees and officers of the VSCPA and BOA in attendance. Speakers in the program include:

  • Dian T. Calderone, CPA, Chair, Virginia Board of Accountancy
