Reaching for the Stars: VSCPA Educational Foundation hits $1 million goal!

Thanks to your generous contributions, the VSCPA Educational Foundation is excited to announce that it's completed the "Reaching for the Stars" $1 million goal — a campaign to ensure today's best and brightest students become future stars of the accounting profession.

"The Foundation sincerely appreciates the overwhelming support of VSCPA members and accounting firms for our $1 million campaign," said H. William Kuehl Jr., CPA, 2005-2006 chair of the Foundation Board. "The need to provide financial support to Virginia's brightest and best accounting students is paramount to our mission. We're ecstatic that we've met this major milestone, but know there's more work ahead to ensure Virginia's top accounting students become the future leaders of the CPA profession."

All the donations, no matter the size, to the Foundation's "Reaching for the Stars" campaign made a significant impact. These special awards as well as future contributions help provide gifted accounting students with the crucial funding they need for tuition, books and housing, while giving students the support and encouragement they need from members of their future profession.
