The President's Society
The VSCPA Educational Foundation’s President’s Society was established to honor Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA) past presidents who make a financial commitment of $1,000 or more to the Foundation. This distinguished group shares the common desire to ensure that the best and brightest accounting students are supported in their academic endeavors. Gifts to the newly formed President’s Society helped establish the Thomas M. Berry Jr. Endowed Scholarship Fund.
On April 30, 2007, after 30 years of leadership, Thomas M. Berry Jr., CAE retired as president & CEO of the Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA). To honor Tom’s dedication to the VSCPA and the CPA profession, the VSCPA Educational Foundation established the Thomas M. Berry Jr. Endowed Scholarship Fund, which reached $100,000 in cash and pledges in May 2007. Gifts to the fund provide a permanent funding base to award an annual scholarship that pays tribute to Tom and recognizes his passion for the CPA profession.
Thank you to all past presidents for their generous support of the VSCPA Educational Foundation.
