VSCPA Logo, Color & Font Guidelines

The corporate identity of the Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA) is composed of three major elements: logo, corporate colors and fonts. The VSCPA logo is the main visual image associated with the VSCPA and represents our progressive thinking, focus and dedication to our vision and mission. The VSCPA's corporate colors and font selection represent the great tradition and credibility that the CPA profession has gained since its inception. Combined together, these three elements create a strong "branding" for VSCPA communications.

Following are guidelines for logo, color and font usage to ensure that the VSCPA logo is a recognizable representation of the quality and integrity of the VSCPA.

Logo

General

The VSCPA logo is registered with the Virginia State Corporation Commission as a state service mark — for sole use by the Virginia Society of CPAs, its chapters and members. VSCPA chapters and members are permitted to use the VSCPA logo and CPA brand logo on stationery, business cards, brochures or made part of a website. Here are some general guidelines:

  • When using the logo on stationery, business cards, brochures, websites or other communications, members and chapters must follow the sizing, color and font guidelines below.
  • Individual members and firms must use the logo containing "Member of the" above the full logo.
  • Chapters should contact the VSCPA for logos including the chapter name.

Minimum Size

To ensure the legibility of the logo and organization name, the minimum recommended size of the logo is 1.25 inches measured across the width of the identifier.

Resizing

Great care should be taken to ensure that the logo is not modified or otherwise distorted. The logo must be resized proportionally. To achieve this in most software, click on the logo, hold down the shift key, then grab one of the corner handles and pull to the desired size. (If you accidentally pull a logo out of shape, delete it and insert a new one.) Files & Downloading

Logo files are available in .JPEG, .PNG .TIF and .EPS formats. Web-ready and print versions of the .JPEG logo can be downloaded here.

Providing VSCPA Logo to Vendors & Printers

In the instance you need to provide a copy of the VSCPA logo or Avenir fonts to a printer, please contact VSCPA Graphic Designer Jen Syer at jsyer@vscpa.com or (804) 612-9426. The VSCPA will email the file directly to your printer.

Colors

The VSCPA has one official color: PMS 7455 (CMYK value 89/74/0/0) . If necessary, the logo may be printed in black.

Fonts

The VSCPA's official font is Arial.

Important font information:

  • The Arial font appears on all VSCPA pre-printed stationery items.
  • The only acceptable font for correspondences is Arial.
