VSCPA Recognizes 23 Members with Prestigious Life Member Award

The VSCPA is pleased to recognize 23 VSCPA members with its 2010 Life Member Award. The prestigious award recognizes those who have been members of the VSCPA for more than 40 continuous years. Including this year’s inductees, only 262 members have received the coveted Life Member Award in the VSCPA’s 100-year history.

“Over the past 40 years, you’ve experienced countless changes in the CPA profession and the business world,“ said James K. Walker, CPA, immediate past chair of the VSCPA Board of Directors, at the CPA Inauguration ceremony in Richmond on April 29. “Your guidance and wisdom will certainly be necessary as we take the VSCPA into the future.”

Recipients of the Life Member Award will have their annual VSCPA membership dues waived and will continue to receive all benefits extended to VSCPA members, including all services and publications. They are also honored with a special lapel pin and certificate of recognition.
