VSCPA Offers Free Disaster Preparedness Workshop


The VSCPA is pleased to offer a free Financial Fitness Workshop titled "Disaster Preparedness: Are You Ready?" on Wednesday, May 19. This virtual workshop will take place via Internet and conference call. It will be led by an experienced CPA, and will help you prepare your home and finances for unexpected events and disasters, such as fire, hurricanes and tornadoes.

  • Highlights: How can you prepare your home for unexpected events — disasters like hurricanes, fire and tornadoes? Don't forget about being financially prepared for disasters. Learn what you can do to minimize the damage to you and your family. This seminar will highlight insurance, important financial documents, emergency fund, Virginia tax holiday and more.
