A former tax partner with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, he resigned his position as partner and became a consultant in order to devote most of his time to writing and lecturing. Each year, Farmer writes and presents CPE programs across the U.S., making presentations in more than 40 states. Walter H. Nunnallee, CPA, J.D., LL.M., is a professor of tax law at North Carolina Central University School of Law. He is the author of numerous tax articles published in The Tax Lawyer, Tax Notes and The Review of Taxation of Individuals. Nunnallee also frequently lectures at tax conferences, including the University of Montana School of Law Tax Institute, the University of North Carolina School of Law Annual Tax Institute and other state tax institutes. He is a member of the North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA), the North Carolina Bar Association and also serves on the board of advisors of the J. Nelson Young Tax Institute.
