UVA Wins KPMG Auditing Competition

For the second year in a row, a four-student team from the University of Virginia (UVA) has won KPMG LLP's national five-week audit case competition. As a result, the UVA Accounting Department received $25,000, and each team member received $3,000.
UVA's team comprised Andrew Serafin, Margaret Fowler, David Myers, who will join KPMG's Norfolk office in the fall, and Catherine (Lyn) Mandigo, who will join KPMG's Washington, D.C., office in the fall.
