CPA Exam Improvements Suggested; New Research Question Response Format Revealed

The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) Board of Examiners (BOE) has embarked on a multi-year project to examine the CPA Exam and provide suggestions for improvement in several areas. The project, CBT-e (the "e" stands for evolution), encompasses various goals, including:
- Improving and shortening the timeline on which scores are released
- Improving the psychometric and operational quality of the CPA Exam
- Enhancing the candidates' experience
