Thomas M. Berry Jr. Annual Scholarship
The Thomas M. Berry Jr. Annual Scholarship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated academic excellence, financial need and exemplary leadership skills. This $2,500 scholarship is administered by the VSCPA Educational Foundation, and was established to honor Thomas M. Berry Jr., CAE, who retired as president & CEO of the VSCPA in April 2007.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a United States citizen.
- Applicant must be currently enrolled in an accredited Virginia college or university undergraduate or graduate program with the intent to pursue a degree in accounting.
- Applicant must have completed at least three (3) hours of accounting and be currently registered for at least three (3) more accounting credit hours (supporting documentation required).
- Applicant must demonstrate a minimum overall and accounting GPA of 3.0.
- Application must be typed or printed.

- Essay (500-word maximum) that describes a situation in which you demonstrated the ability to influence, inspire and motivate an individual or group of individuals to achieve desired results.
